Students in grades 1-8 are to be dressed in the school uniform on a daily basis. The school dress code is fair and in keeping with the philosophy of a Catholic School. Washing and mending of the school uniform should be limited to evenings and weekends. The ultimate responsibility for seeing that this dress code is followed rests with the parents. Therefore if a student is not adhering to the dress code, his/her teacher will notify the parents. Steps necessary to rectify the situation are to be taken within a 24 hour period – this includes but is not limited to the replacement of lost dress shoes regardless of the time of year. If this does not occur, a student may not be permitted to attend class. Final determination of acceptable wear is left to the discretion of the principal.
